The small flag that I received in my citizenship ceremony is on my desk. Even though I live in France and work for the EU, I love most American values, I cherish most American traditions, and value most American characteristics.
Equality, opportunity, democracy, entrepreneurship, hard work, and sense of togetherness, community.
For the second time, I watch a woman who is far superior to the man, lose the presidential election. It’s a punch in the gut.
Since the 1990s I’ve worked for women to be given level playing field at work, in politics, in the economy and in the society. We don’t want to be “protected”. We don’t need “empowerment”. We just want - as RBG said - for some people to take their foots off of our necks.
The next four years will be rough for women and minorities. Thankfully, big ships turn slow. Empathy and kindness are always in, I’m not giving up on America’s ideals.
I continue to work for the European Union and the United States in deep technologies, ensuring that these technologies are being used for the good.
But first, I will take my dogs for a walk in the woods.
Don’t give up.
If the USA was working as intended, it would not matter who the President was because they would guard your birthright freedoms. Get wise the government deception in my podcast here:
